In an interview given to The Hindu, Subramanian Swamy says Raghuram Rajan has failed and should be sacked (which I do not agree with at all). In addition he says, interest rate should be immediately slashed (which I agree with) but also equally says on three year deposits, interest should be guaranteed at 12% (which I find ridiculous). He then proposes abolishing income tax for all except billionaires (how this will be implemented, he doesnt care) and says natural resources can be auctioned to compensate for the drop in income.
