In analysing videos and watching horses move lately I have noted that horses that are trimmed by Barefoot trimmers tend to land flat footed. This horse currently under assessment, lands flat footed on 1 foot, slightly toe first on another, on the lateral wall of one hind and on the right fore lands obviously heel first. My question is - how much does this affect movement and the joints above? Can a horse be even in movement when all four feet land differently, and break over through a different part of the hoof? Any suggestions?
