In another thread, someone brought up the buildings that owners have allowed to disintegrate slowly and the City that doesnt do anything about it. Well, of course you need ordinances to enforce first. If I remember correctly, our ordinances dont include anything that hasnt been enforced... Instead of using force, what if the City tried using incentive? Like perhaps, the building owner that improves the most in the year gets their taxes waived or paid for the entire year? Or maybe gets each dollar spent matched by the City? If the City can budget to pay lawsuits, they can budget for something such as this...
