In as much as I cherish, revere, love and respect Dr. Ahmad Gumi as mentor and outstanding Islamic cleric, I also duely cherish, love and respect Gen. muhammad Buhari as an incorruptible Politician and a last man standing today; undoubtly steadfast, honest and straightforward personality we are looking unto as a good material that could rescue the submerging and confused nation to the bank. Obviously, I wont insult my mentor in Islam, whom is a guide that lighten my path towards righteousness in this life to the hereafter because of a particular political saga that isnt even well entertained by my religion. On the hand also, I wont be that blind in terms of decision makings towards what will make my life and that of the masses much better; so as to discard a certain personality so popular and revered as the only apparent man that would stand and bring back the dignity of this nation here and everywhere. No doubt, struggles to get Jannah could only be done in this life, and thats our aim generally. We as Muslims, we need to please Allah through worshipping him as He prescribed and avoid what He forbids, for us to get Jannah, and for you to worship Allah sincerely you need both peace of living & peace of mind and ofcourse utmost tranquility. Likewise the adherents to other religions. But today in our country many of us are deprived up of that. Looking up to who and who would serve the purpose of restoring such vital things in the life of every Nigerian, today GMB stand tall out of all, with no influence of money or favour, but with examplary honesty and incorruptible mind. But why should we drop this man at this final hour and start looking for others with very less reputation? How much time is available for us to build a character that could pierce through religious, tribal and regional differences (created by the current administartion) to woo the minds & hearts and garner support to defeat the incumbent? Reputation of whatsoever type isnt created in weeks or months, its created in years. And for us to start thinking of a personality that will take the place of GMB in just 3 to 4 months to election, did that make a sense? Humans judge by whats apparent, and obviously were judging GMB with what we knew about his sincerity. For whats hidden about him, we left that for Allaah to judge. And we seek Allahs protection from harming anyone with our words, and May He choose the best for us.
