In as much as I hate PDP & some of the policies and slow nature of GEJ, i think the system of democracy in Nigeria is a complete scrap. One that should be carefully package and thrown into river Niger. This is because alot of people are taken piss with democracy and mesmerize the public for sympathy. You climb on the strength and popularity of a particular political party & got elected, then you turn around to dump the party and wonna retain your position. This trend of injustice & corruption in Nigeria politics has been happening all over and the recent one is the seat of speaker of the house of reps. Its not done anywhere in the world except in Nigeria where lawlessness reign supreme. I will give one and latest example; Here in the UK, a member of the parliament named Mark Reckless representing Rochester & Strood constituency defected from CONSERVATIVE PARTY to UK INDEPENDENCE PARTY. Firstly, before his defection, He resigned his position as MP, His seat was declared vacant in the house and a by-election was rescheduled. He re-contested under his new party UKIP and won his seat back defeating his former party with wide margin. No rancour, no argument, no violence, no jumping thru fence. We claim to have copied our system of govt. from the west, yet we play it the way it will suit our selfish & criminal interest without atom of consideration on the negative impact it will have on the Nation and her citizens. #osquare78
