In case I forget, things that I am thankful for: First- my mother. Many of my friends no longer have theirs and, I know that I am blessed to still have mine. Second- my brother. Losing our sister, too early, has brought us so much closer together. For that I am very grateful. Third- my daughter. Having her was the best thing that has ever happened to me. The more she grows, the more I see that I did something right. Fourth- the rest of my family. From my sister in law, Patty, to my aunts Bev, Carol, and (even) Janet, my cousins Denise and Kim and their families, my nephew Mike, niece Megan, Gabe and their girls, they remind me everyday, of the wonderful grandparents that we all came from. Tyler and Quinn, I love you both with all of my heart. You too are family, never forget that. Fifth- my extended family, my childhood friends. From Donna, Pam, Shirley, Scarlet V., Claudia and all of my Havre de Grace crew, I am indeed blessed to get to see you all every year. I treasure those visits more than you know. Sixth- my Baltimore extended family of Scarlet J., Michelle, Thrisha and the Severe family. All of you had a huge hand in Shawn turning out as wonderful as she did. For this, I am forever thankful. Seventh- Tiffany and Ryan, my second children. I thank you both for putting up with me. I know that, at times, Aunt Karen pushed you but, I hope that you both know it was always done with love. And, I cannot forget Laura, Jen and Nikki. Shawn has many others but, you three have been her mainstays through thick and thin. Craig, Mary Ellen, I love you both, through it all and I will always be thankful for you two. Eighth- believe it or not, to my exes. I thank you for the time that you all put in. I know that I wasnt easy but, I am proud to say that, not only do we remain friends, but I continue to retain friendships made through you, especially, Patty. Ninth- to my customers, old and new. I am thankful for your patronage, your trust and your friendships. Good customers, of which I an blessed to have many, have made this 42 years of hair a pleasure, instead of a job. Tenth- finally, for those of you not mentioned, you are in or have passed through my life for a reason. I thank you all and wish everyone a wonderful, family and friend filled Thanksgiving holiday!
