In case I have somehow given any of you the wrong - TopicsExpress

In case I have somehow given any of you the wrong impression...feeling your sorrow is always your right, and there is no need to apologize (especially not to me) about having a down day. Some days carrying your sorrow will be more difficult than on other days. Your heart has been pierced by the absence of your person from your physical life, and that is not only okay, but normal. Of course your heart hurts. On the days when grief weighs on your heart heavily, be good to yourself. Allow yourself to feel. Know that no other persons expectation of how you should grieve matters. YOU are the one walking through this loss, and your heart, mind and spirit have to guide which steps you take forward, and in what order. Ultimately, you must chart your own course. Yes, I do tend to focus on the positive, that has always been my way. Yep, you can always count on me to cheer you on as you recreate your life, and to offer suggestions or a different perspective when I am asked. I will always be real with you about my own loss, about how I continue to choose to recreate my own life, and about what has and has not worked for me in my quest to ensure that Phils story doesnt end with the tale of his tragic death. But, never will I expect you to do as I do or judge you for feelings that you identify as negative. I love you each just where you are, and wish you a full life that reflects your unique and amazing inner spark.
