In case anyone is interested in the details, Wiggums was diagnosed with diabetes, and when that came under control and his immune system grew stronger he developed severe food allergies, so hes now on a special (and expensive) limited ingredient diet. His blood sugar is great and his fur is growing back in, his scabs are healing and hes doing far better in general than he has been. He still wont eat wet food, but hes eating the new dry food at least. Eve developed a urinary tract infection and had to receive antibiotics and steroids for several weeks, and she was switched to an all wet food diet. She also has an inhaler for her asthma. Justins dog Buddy had an incident where he nearly chewed his testicles off. Dont ask. Hes special. And now my Zealamonsters chin is swollen and painful. I really hope its an easy fix, but even if its a simple tooth extraction hes still going to need to be anesthetized and given antibiotics. Love is so expensive.
