In case anyone missed it, what we ALL suspected was the case: - TopicsExpress

In case anyone missed it, what we ALL suspected was the case: Officer Darren Wilson will NOT be indicted for the murder of Mike Brown. This means he will not have a formal trial in a court of law. Because this decision was made by a grand jury in a private court, the public will not be able to see for themselves if this has anything to do with justice. All we are able to see is that they decided his guilt in the situation isnt a disputable matter...all we see is that they are deciding its not a violation of the law for a cop to execute (excessive) lethal force on an unarmed citizen suspected of a petty crime. The few facts handed to us indicate that there is a claim that a struggle for the officers gun inside the vehicle occurred resulting in one shot being fired...but there is no footage, or ballistics reports to support these claims.....but more importantly, the officer was already in violation of protocol for drawing his firearm before ever even exiting his vehicle...which means he judged guilt without evidence, and more importantly it meant he saw that as an officer of the law he must treat citizens as enemies. It is obvious that Wilson had already drawn the gun before even attempting to exit the vehicle based on these SIMPLE observations: it is difficult enough for an officer to pull their own gun out of the holster in a seated position, but for a person standing outside an SUV patrol unit, even if Wilson were left handed(making the gun so much as visible to Brown, let alone accessible), it would be a GREAT and desperate struggle indeed for the young man, even with such sizable stature, to wrestle the gun out of its issued place of rest. It is obvious that between the shape/size of the door handle in his cruiser, Officer Wilsons less than wiry frame, Browns rather bulky frame, the holsters safety mechanism(a decently thick snap button on a thick leather strap the requires a certain amount of leverage to release), and the safety mechanism of the gun itself, that this claimed struggle would have taken considerable time to result in a gunshot within the car, if not been outright thwarted by the tactile training of an officer of the law. Furthermore there was such an extremely prolonged time between the incident and so much as a basic report on ANY information being released on the case that it is hard not to smell the pungent stench of foul play. If there were an extra shot fired from the officers gun than what entered the victims body at close range, there would have been a team searching trajectory to find that bullet immediately(its always part of the initial report to announce the number of shots fired/landed by officers, and its usually the first bit of information reported, often even prior to release of the victims name)...if that bullet were actually in the car, that information would have been handed to us INSTANTLY.....Wilson was claimed to have sustained injury, but not until 3 days of rioting occurred, then not only the photo, but the x-ray negatives released were proven to be false. From all this information combined with the immediate militarization of police that occurred when a simple candlelight vigil was met with swat tanks, riot gear, assault rifles, and K9 units, we can only assume that this is a blatant case of the militarization of our police force has caused a these streets are our battleground, these people are our enemy mentality that once combined with the standardized oppression of lower working class through poverty line citizens creates a disgusting dynamic that MUST be changed if ever our society is to see true peace. Protest injustice, but never forget that hate met with hate only begets more hate. and violence met with violent only begets pain. Stand up to injustice. Stand strong in the face of those who manipulate position of power. Stand for those who cannot stand for themselves. Stand for love. Stand for peace. Stand for the unity of ALL our people.
