In case its not clear, Ive been posting a lot about #ferguson, primarily out of a sense of hope. St. Louis is a wonderful city, and excellent place to live, and to work. And, it has a lot of issues, and needs strong people to help it grow. Just like the city you live in. Ive been deeply interested in how my community chooses to react to evidence of systemic issues, and sometimes the conversation is better than others. Now is one of those times. As much as moments like this expose the underlying racism inherent in America, I have never in my life, seen so many of my friends engage with racism so publicly or personally. Thanks to all the folks who responded (in any way). Ive never used facebook this hard in all my life, and the response has been delightful.
