A rule of thumb for me is if there isnt a journal cited in an accredited journal to which also has been examined and reviewed, its safe to dismiss entirely.. Stories such as follows are a part of an anti-science movement, and much of them seek to cast doubt or discredit science by any means they can..., knowing their target audience is unlikely to actually be critical, or do any research as they aim for an audience to which are typically intellectually lazy while accepting at first glance with no questions asked of its validity.
