In case you are puzzled by the last two posts about Utah dialect, dont be. The fact is the residents of Utah speak English pretty much the same as the rest of America--plus a multitude of other languages I couldnt even begin to enumerate. If you want to hear funny, walk the streets of New York--or Washington D.C.--on any given day. If thats not weird enough for you, try Mobile, Alabama, or the Louisiana bayou country. Harse versus horse, and former versus farmer are small potatoes. One of my favorite tee-shirts has: No te das cuenta de lo estupido que pareces inclinado la cabeza para leer esto...? written sideways across the chest. (Dont you realize how silly you look tilting your head to read this...?) I can instantly recognize Spanish speakers.
