In case you dont know yet, I had a Cinderella ending to my quest for the ultimate Cinderella concert experience. I am a huge fan(atic) and had not seen them collectively as a band since 1989 so it was a very big deal for me to be up front! At the first concert, I was at the front of line after waiting 3 hours in line, but after all of the VIPS, media and photogs were let in, I only got as close to about 4th row. In what I can only imagine is fate, I met someone the next day, working at the Winger concert and I thought he was just a roadie sent to tell us the concert would start shortly. I joked with him about the late times, standing in lines forever etc and it came out about my plight the previous day. Thats when he told me WHO he was and that he would fix that at the 2nd Cinderella concert and for me to find him the next day. I literally began to cry because it seemed too good to be true and how many times have people told you i can do this, that etc but it never pans out? He simply said I cant make everyone happy but I can certainly make one person happy. That night and all the next morning, I was on the verge of throwing up from worry and excitement. I still didnt believe it would happen. I was NOT going to get my hopes up and then have them trampled on if things fell through. But, after many sleepless hours and with the help of AJ, who I happened to run into and who subsequently went and found JP for me that next day, it DID happen! I dont know why or how but it did and all because of a chance meeting at a Winger concert that I had not originally planned on going to that night.And personally, I think this is the best fairy tale Cinderella story for a band that carries that namesake!! Thanks to Tom Keifer (Official) Jeff LaBar Eric Brittingham and Fred Coury for killing it and providing something worth waiting 25 years for!
