The Roman Catholic church actually adopted the pagen ideology so Christianity could be forced on the heathens. Easter is about a man named Jesus who was born a human and lived as a human, tortured and killed as a human to pay for our sins. True Christanity is not a religion. Religion is us reaching up to God. Being a follower of Christ is nothing we as humans have done. Having a personal relationship with God through Jesus is what I believe being a Christian is all about. Its nothing we do as humans but what Jesus done for us. So when we are all partaking in the pagen rituals this Easter remember what it is really about. It is about Gods grace and mercy..This is the weekend Jesus died and rose again. Gotta get back to work,my break is over.
