In case you happen to hear something... YES, two trees located on the Fox Hill Country Club property toppled yesterday onto the school property. One landed in the parking lot -- narrowing missing a students vehicle. The other came down on the side deck. The top branches and limbs came to rest on the school roof. YES. Sensei Brandon Gallis vehicle was damaged when the trees branches and limbs came into contact with his vehicles windshield. YES. Master Galli was injured when the tree that came down on the deck struck him. He was attempting to clear the deck furniture when the tree snapped unexpectedly and began to fall. His quick actions, prompted by a heads up from Sensei Erins mom -- Diane Kivak -- were enough to get him mostly out of the way of the falling tree. He was struck on the right shoulder by the falling tree and sustained an injury in the mishap. The incident occurred around 7:30 - 7:40 PM. Aside from Master Gallis misfortune, no other injuries were reported.. YES. The school will be open -- business as usual -- tonight. NO. Initial observations are that the school DID NOT sustain any structural damage.
