In case you have been trying to reach us or have emailed us, we have suffered some extensive flood damage from last weeks storm. The office had been closed since Thursday night and after we left, the sudden flash floods poured into our building. Water that entered our main floor not only ran down the stairs, but also found its way across the ceiling in the basement to fry some of our pieces of peripheral hardware, including our switcher, router, phone and internet modem. Monday morning, Capt. Bill walked in to the remnants of the storm. We now have the soothing sounds of blowers and dehumidifiers, no internet and the phone system sort of working. Modems were replaced, as was the switcher. No internet.... Hopefully tomorrow Baroan Technologies will be able to iron out the last piece of the non-working puzzle. The last few years we have seen more and more the unusual weather patterns due to climate change. Sometimes we are directly effected.
