In case you missed it, Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana called a sacred fast and prayer meeting on LSUs campus today to pray for our nation and cry out to the Lord in the spirit of the prophet Joel to overturn dark issues plaguing our nation. He invited all 49 other governors and political leaders of all sorts who partnered with church worship leaders to fast and pray this afternoon. My heart is so tender towards this because there is something about a governmental leader bending his knee to God on behalf of his country and praying in the name of Jesus Christ. Wed be a fool to think the God who never changes doesnt interact with nations, Kings, and prophets as he always has and is angered by rampant sin in our blessed nations culture while moved in heartfelt passion and devotion by the words of a praying state and country. God bless governor Jindal and I am praying this day that God would raise up more legitimate born-again governors and leaders that weep over the state of our nation, and govern as the Father leads and sees rather than cultural Christians who go about their business with human wisdom and sprinkle scriptures on the Sunday of their week! God is moving! Let it come, Lord!
