In case you wonder how a day like today goes when you have a trainer... Her: Absolutely go race. Go hard. Lets see where you are at. Then go ride an extra couple of hours at a moderate pace. My brain initially says huh, really you actually think Ill be able to move after a race, let alone ride? But my mature brain responds with Ok, that sounds like a great plan. Im looking forward to it. Then you go out and do both and realize...I didnt die. My legs still work. Dang, shes really good. Mavie rocks. Shes done so much for me.
