In cases where there are more than one defendant, a suit can be instituted in a court within whose local jurisdiction (a) each of the defendant at the time of commencement of the suit, actually & voluntarily resides or carries on business or personally works for gain (b) any of the defendant, at the time of the commencement of the suit, actually & voluntarily resides, or carries on business, or personally works for gain and the defendant(s) not so residing etc. acquiesce (c) both (a) & (b) are correct (d) only (a) & not (b).
