In colonial times, there was a road that crossed Jackson Heights - TopicsExpress

In colonial times, there was a road that crossed Jackson Heights named, Trains Meadow Road. This house on 31st Avenue and 81st Street, is a vestige of that time. It was angled along Trains Meadow Road, as were the buildings of its time. However, when all the other houses in the area were demolished---and this one remained to this day, and the grid system of numbered street streets was introduced to the area---this one house house stands out as it once and forever, will be aligned with the defunct Trains Meadow Road. It is angled differently than its more modern neighbors---as a reminder of Trains Meadow Road during colonial times. See Comments for more.
