In conjunction with the plans for the Sesquicentennial, two Reps - TopicsExpress

In conjunction with the plans for the Sesquicentennial, two Reps from the Erie Arts and Culture Museum, Holly Nowak and Mary Spicer, met with me last week to help set up a fiber art event for the celebration. We decided on a yarn bombing which is covering a structure with created pieces of knitting, crocheting etc. which are then donated. We welcome anyone interested in helping with this project to meet Holly and Mary at the Riverside Inn on October15th at 6:00pm and they will explain how it works. If you currently do yarnwork, bring your supplies with you. If you would like to learn, beginning supplies will be provided. For the remainder of the year, we will meet monthly and then set a more aggressive schedule for next year. However, anyone wishing to sit and knit at the Inn in between scheduled meetings is welcome to do so. We hope to see many of our local talented town folk there and anyone in the surrounding are who is curious! If there are questions, please call me at the Riverside Inn.
