In death, he had more friends than alive, all eulogizing the rare attributes of a man whose milk of human kindness flowed freely to the joy of the downtrodden. SUNNY OFILI, it is hard to believe you are no more. You came, saw the deplorable situation of your people and were about to conquer their pains and hardship, before the cold hand of death snatched you away in a most tragic experience. If it is humanly possible, the tears of many that looked up to you since your sudden departure, would have restored you back to life. But, death is a monster that is only defeated by God. Our help is in the name of God and we believe that on the last day, at the blast of the Angelic whistle, when all that left this sinful world with their good deeds shall rise again, we shall meet to part no more. Till then, SUNNY OFILI, Our great Patron, the unfulfilled hope of the people of Aniocha North, rest in the peace of the Lord.
