In defense, for a change, of our Vice President, I have used the word Shylock to mean a swindler. I never knew it was originally a Jewish reference, nor would I have really cared, as my intent of the word was not racially motivated... ever. We should not be responsible for knowing the ancient origin of every word we use.... not even at the top of the food chain! This PC stuff is getting old in my semi-educated honest opinion.
