In dire times, times of great turmoil, sorrow, and uncertainty. - TopicsExpress

In dire times, times of great turmoil, sorrow, and uncertainty. Just remember that it is always darkest before the dawn. What has always pushed a great nation forward in the most terrible times is our desire to innovate. Our destiny to leave the world a better place then we found it, to begin a new. Today 48 years ago in such a turbulent time brave people embraced the wonders of scinece, and innovation. They learned to care about the lives of their fellow men. They understood all of gods children are created equally, and for the first time that we truly are a nation of, for, and by the people. Not of the state, or the wealthy among us. That the only way out is with knowledge, and a desire to push though. So on this night I ask what is our moment? What will be the point when we have had enough? Enough of the poverty, and demonization of the downtrodden, the sick and the meak. Enough of a fear of information, and a reputation of ignorance for the sake of some one, or peoples selfish gain. When will we realize that god gave us this garden to tend to and make grow, to feed all of his now and future children? We have, as a nation been blessed with an abundance of inspiration, in the found simplest places. (The Gospel of Thomas). It Is of us what we do with it. “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.
