In embu county ,siakago division,gitiburi sublocation, situation of miraa farmers is getting worse and worst day after the other bearing in mind that they rely on miraa farmin as to improve and uplift their living standards. This is after embu water and sanitation company(ewasco)have posted firm restrictions for farmers who may be caught watering the mentioned plantations.500ksh is a fine for a farmer whose water metre is disconnected who may be caught doing the prohibited act. During this dry season many farmers are ending up on tears since the plantation produce is getting low and the company ewasco is still holding firmly their restrictions . Poverty in years to come maybe overflowing in siakago division,if the ewasco will not authorize needy farmers on farming with companys water since they are the farmers to pay the water bill. Farmers are are now begging the company to withdraw this measures which could lead to starvation ,drought,increase rate of crime such as prostitution.failure to which embu county may fail to grow by double digit as other counties may be doing in this digital error.
