In every liberal democratic society, there is equality and justice ! What the students demanded in the streets in the 1988 are these values to be realized; ASSK, sadly, is not really literate in the cause of this 969 law, the main intention is to protect the poor Buddhist women converted to other religion against their will-----If ASSK ever reads well and has true interest to protect the basic unalienable Human Rights, she should first remove the Koran Law which demands conversion of the spouse of their believer before marriage; and this practice is continued in Myanmar under the false disguise of freedom of worship; I agree and support the freedom of worship but I will never support this kind of Koran Law influencing the Myanmar Court Decision ---My final words are if ASSK ever has real interest in freedom of worship she has to make efforts to promote secular law (thus deleting Koran Law in our country) which give freedom and no religious practices on secular laws----Neither shouting against 969 nor saying against this coming law will make significant progress for the freedom of Myanmar women who are now influenced by this Koranic Law even while living on their own soil !!!
