In everything give thanks; for this is Gods will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 We really dont appreciate the intrinsic value of what weve been given until its been taken away. Being kicked in the face health wise, comfort wise, and wrestling with the uncertainty of what is causing the pain can be debilitating and so discouraging none the less. Though its still not certain at this point, I have a true revelation of what I have taken for granted. Getting out there this morning to run was so amazing. I felt like a war horse, dressed and zealously ready for battle. It feels so good to be pain free, and have the energy to run, to feel the stretch in my hips and legs as they build momentum, to feel my feet strike the pavement, and the cool air fill my lungs. I realize today we live in a fallen world, and we are physically dying daily. I cannot do what I once could, nor can I do what others do. But I will do what I can do, and enjoy who I am in Christ Jesus. Let us give thanks with a grateful heart for the blessings of today! Just be grateful to breathe, to move, to have a family, a home, to be alive, to be well and rich with tremendous blessings!!! I could go on forever!
