In fact, the Oscar for sincerity, bipartisanship and credibility - TopicsExpress

In fact, the Oscar for sincerity, bipartisanship and credibility on Intelligence should go to Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI), chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. He knows as much as perhaps, the president on Intelligence matters. So he has steadfastly defended US and NSAs efforts in counter-Intelligence, wiretapping, Intelligence operations under the FISA mandate. Of course, there have been some breaches. Spying on Angela Merkel, should that prove true, served no purpose for US Intelligence. Its nothing but pure, tacky fishing expedition; more of Hollywood, paparrazi journalism than meaningful, national-security, public-safety, counter-terrorism Intelligence. Its not a persuasive argument to claim that President Obama with all the huge problem he faces at home, least of which is Obamacare, would indulge tacky-racy, Intelligence operations of no probate value. This is just absurd and, perhaps, inconceivable. If NSA wastes time and money on Merkel, may be you might start suspecting spying on Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and other Hollywood celebrities, or even Charlie Sheen. There may be absurb comparisons here. But, thats the point , when concerns about serious threat of transnational terrorism involving drones, have degenerated into racy speculations. Igonikon Jack
