In fact, the government went so far as to strip the inside of the car and replace it. This was a murder crime scene. Wow !!! Had Oswald not been murdered and had Oswald had competent defense counsel, this all would have come back to bite the prosecution on the behind at trial. It helps the defense and raises lots of issues. This was a murder. Think about it. If there was nothing to hide, there is no way at all that the police (here the Secret Service and the FBI) would have done any of this. But of course, they had their patsy and certain folks probably knew that Oswald was going to get killed long before the evidence could ever get tested in court.
