In fantastic news for man’s best friend, Shoalhaven City Council has recently announced plans for the construction of two new dog parks within the City. Following consultation with local dog clubs and management committees, Council has selected sites at Milton and Nowra Showgrounds for the development of the new facilities. The new areas will incorporate agility equipment selected by the clubs along with landscaping to develop fun and engaging sites for the enjoyment of dogs and owners alike. The new dog facilities have been greatly assisted after a Nowra resident won $30,000 from Nestlé Purina to assist Council in developing facilities at a dog park in the Shoalhaven.
