In from G of the G, which I thoroughly enjoyed. For my money, it succeeds both as space opera and as comedy, two of my favorite genres. The scenes at the bar in the mining colony really reminded me of Miners Rest, that most reprehensible hive of scum and villainy in the galaxy in E.E. Doc Smiths Gray Lensman. I enjoyed all the characters, good and bad and both, and the story kept me guessing enough to be pleasing. In short: my favorite film since my beloved John Carter (of Mars). Id go online now and buy the dvd, if it were available. And the soundtrack, too. :)
