In future if you buy a mobile phone off ebay, once you have received the phone check the phones imei number at checkmend to see if has been blacklisted or stolen or any other reason this will cost you £1.99 but may be worth it in the long run and I wish I knew about this service at the time.i bought a phone in February for £410 and last week I decided to cash it in with a phone recycling company, when they carry out there checks out on the phone it came back that the imei number had been blacklisted by vodafone for whatever reason. If you send a phone to be recycled and it comes up as blacklisted they will not send you the phone back for legal reasons. So I have no phone and im out of pocket money wise. I have now put it in the hands of the police. Please repost this to make others aware and so it doesnt happen to you. Thank You.
