In having a lil chat with a video game programmer friend, it was mentioned that he had had the opportunity of experiencing some early virtual reality technology. The technology had done a great job at creating the sensation of being in the virtual reality world, yet still had some subtle glitches with movement graphics. He was excited to mention, that a new version of this technology is in the works, and many bugs have been fixed. Now, we have had conversations as to the nature of duality, reality, and self in previous conversations - and so our virtual reality conversation, effortlessly began to focus on the infinite fractal nature of self, and reality alike (look at my profile picture for a great visual example of this). So in theory, through observing trends in the expansion of technology over the past several decades (which can be traced back to a continual quickening of technological advancement - from ideas such as the airplane, to the car, to the printing press, to the internet), we are reaching the potential of creating virtually reality worlds, on the verge of being indistinguishable from reality as we know it. And the wayyy cool thing is, that all inventions that have ever come through our world, have flowed through someone’s imagination - or awareness - prior to being grounded/created, in our shared reality experience. What this means, is that all that is physical human expression, is perfectly reflective, of our awareness/imagination potential (i.e. our minds get smarter before we do smarter things). So the fact that virtual reality is becoming a reality, essentially paves the road to god, or self, realization...... There will come a time, that the virtual reality technology we are capable of producing, will develop its own capacity to create virtual reality worlds, within itself - enlightening the infinite fractal nature of reality, self, and whatever could be called god. This virtual reality example, coherently, and theoretically, displays that our physical world and potential alike, is infinite. Yet what of our inner self, or inner world, or internal technology? What of meditation and the created skill of subtly focusing awareness inward? Awareness, or imagination, or mind, is just as infinite, as our external reality. The sense of I, is that which navigates any meditation - or internal self exploration. I am meditating. Now, try to find this I, or perhaps the source of I.... It cannot be done. As you are (I am), that which focuses the concept, of awareness. Can awareness be aware of itself? Just as dreams can feel real, as is the potential of waking time imagination, to create real experiences. We create internal realties, now, every time we zone out - we simply fail to allow ourselves the freedom, of recognizing the infinite creative potential, we are. Imagine yourself, imagining yourself, imagining a dream you once had, about yourself imagining......
