In honor of NATIONAL PREEMIE AWARENESS DAY, here is my mini flashback of the battle weve fought and won together. Never underestimate the strength of a tiny baby fighting for their life. Kendalyn Jae Ingram born at 30 weeks gestation, weighing a whopping 2 pounds and 4 Oz and 15 and 1/4 inches long with a 3 month stay in the NICU. Im so blessed, honored and proud to be your mommy, my little mighty mouse. Mommy loves you so much and I am so amazed by your strength. God made my life when he chose me to be your mommy. We may have started off a bit scary but I always knew in my heart that you cone from a long line of strong women and that you would beat all odds that were trying to fight against us and you would be home and healthy where you belonged. God had us. And he still does. And for that I am forever thankful. Happy national preemie awareness to all my fellow preemie mommies. I am proud of each of you and your little ones too, only you understand where I am coming from. Please always appreciate your pregnancy when you carry to term, even if youre miserable, uncomfortable and ready to not be pregnant anymore because there are those of us who werent given that blessing and would have killed for it. Its the hardest thing to ever endure, watching your newborn child fight for their life. Proud Preemie Mommy!!!!!!!!! Thank you to my friends and family for all of your support almost 2 years ago and for all your love and support still to this day. Kjae and I love you!!!
