In honor of Womens History Month. Professional Diversity Network - TopicsExpress

In honor of Womens History Month. Professional Diversity Network is featuring extraordinary women who deserve to be celebrated for all that they do. Its an honor for us to feature exceptional women who go above and beyond to serve their families and communities. Justice Lampkin, an exceptional woman, currently serves as the Presiding Judge of the Sixth Division on the Illinois Appellate Court, First District. She has served as a member of four different Illinois Supreme Court committees and has Chaired two of them: the Criminal Law and Probation Administration Committee and the Illinois Pattern Instructions in Criminal Cases Committee. She has taught judges in various aspects of the law for 20 years, including death penalty litigation, proper handling of guilty pleas and jury selection. But, aside from her prestigious and honorable accolades and hectic schedule, she somehow manages to find the time to nurture and mentor youth and children of all ages, and give even more of herself to friends and family. But, above all of this, she attributes her generous heart, and success to God. If asked how she is doing, she would quickly and without hesitation reply, I am blessed and highly favored!
