In honor of pumpkin season I am officially announcing my acceptance of any and all gifts that involve pumpkin. Last year there were some issues with this joyous holiday. And I completely understand - I told you to give me pumpkin related products and even though many complied, some did it in a wrong way. So here are the rules: 1) If and when you arrive at my house and you are not carrying a pumpkin related item, you will be faced with either a charge of $20 or you will be denied access. 2.) I cannot eat candles no matter how good they smell. If you bring me a candle I will make you eat it. 3.) When you deliver whatever it is to me, it should be accompanied with a smile. Pumpkin pie does not taste good when I know that it was made from a butter heart. 4.) There were some of you who tried to trick me by bringing sweet potato pie. After much consideration I have decided to accept this generous offer. It is too close to tell the difference. 5.) You will accompany it with a note that tells me how awesome I am. If you follow these rules you should have a safe and productive pumpkin season.
