In honor of the 5 rattlesnake that was so close to our house I have spent the entire day mowing everything within hundreds of feet of the house. I wanted to eliminate as many potential snake hiding places as I possibly could. Hopefully thisll do it, at least near the house. Unfortunately, while Eric was off buying septic and drain chemicals to unplug our sewer system (another joy we discovered this morning), I ran over a faucet and snapped the pipe off. When Eric got home Id managed to turn off the main water line but that was it. He dug out the pipe and repaired the faucet before going back to work on the sewer. It has not been the most fun day here at Tiki Acres but at least were getting a lot done.
