In isolation on the ward no plans to give her any neutrophil boosting meds as with no neutrophils you dont get pus (I know gross) or much redness so if we boost them our infected site becomes redder and confuses us as to the level of healing. 4 hourly observations by the nurses ( I am about to clarify with them about overnight!!) Basically they are watching to see if she turns septic - now thats infection rather than mood which has already been a bit septic just being back in here!! Maddie is hanging out for Diana and Kate to arrive- Kate to provide some much needed distraction and Diana has prepared a meal for Maddie this way we know 100% its ok! Today ( and every day) Im grateful for all my wonderful friends and family and all the lovely messages and support especially right now as we balance on the edge of a very scary cliff ......
