In just one day, more than 95,000 people signed our petition to stop the Tories privatisation of our NHS. Thats an incredible message we sent the Prime Minister this morning. And we were heard: Im delighted to let you know that we won the vote in Parliament today. Thank you for responding to our call. Our bill faces its next test in Parliament in two weeks time, when it will be sent to a committee of MPs for their consideration. We have a fortnight to keep up the pressure weve created on David Cameron. They knew how it would look to vote against our bill. But by ignoring the vote in an attempt to wash their hands of their responsibility, the Tories have shown they have no respect for our NHS. They would rather sell off NHS contracts to their millionaire donors — which is happening for eye-watering sums. There are just three final steps before our bill is made into law and we can end the Tory privatisation of the NHS. After the bill goes to the committee of MPs, there will be a third reading in Parliament and then it will go to the Lords for approval. As we saw today, we can win when we act.
