In last 2-3 days, I have stumbled upon this morality shit (in Hindi and English), circulating on the social media, so many times that I had to revisit Darwinian theory of evolution to understand why have we started sucking more and more as a society. The whom-and-how-should-you-kiss texts floating on the social media (floating on the social media means one self-obsessed moral messiah wrote it and thousand others started copy pasting it on different pages without understanding why and where bullets, asterisks, colons, full-stops, commas, brain, kidney, liver are applied) are transmitting like commandments. This is what they say: Celebrate Kiss of love, but with better intentions. -> Try kissing forehead of a crying baby -> Try kissing cheeks of an orphan -> Kiss the hands of mother who is working for the whole day -> Try kissing the 6 years old girl who was abandoned by her parents Blah Blah Gutter Putter Hanky Panky Champa Chameli Better intentions? I mean seriously, what does that even mean? Even if I skip the morality laden comparitive degree word better applied over here, I cant skip the intention wala part. When I read it, it appears to me that you like poking fingers in assholes of strangers, smell it and decide if it is better than your asshole or not. Who gives you the scale to measure differences between kissing a crying baby and a smiling baby? Just because it was visually more appealing and poetically more enjoyable, we started copying it like some Sankriti Saar and sermonizing it everywhere. Just because we have to show that we have a tender and moral heart, we started sympathizing with orphans and tried so hard them to feel them how much we pity for them. Just because we have assumed that mother was created to sacrifice herself, it is so easy to glorify mothers love and compare it with random unknown emotions. I really feel bad for these preachers who grow on misfortunes of others like parasites. The funny part is, as soon as you argue them, they will start calling you fake liberals spoiled by western philosophies, you know why? - because they copied even this phrase from the internet without understanding what does it mean.
