In last nights dreams, I ended up in an endless event looking for fresh food and there was none to be found. The fact that it was my fictional wedding to a faceless person and it turned out to be a family reunion instead was beside the point?! @_@?!?!? I wandered around from merchant to merchant and all I could find were shrink-wrapped cheese balls, and stuffed grape leaves in jars, and plastic-looking cookies in cellophane. Not a salad or a steamed asparagus in sight. I finally settled on fruitcake (yes, I do indeed love fruitcake), but I had to taste test several to find the one least sweet and most flavorful. I am not really a sweets person and an average corn-syruped fruit cake was not going to do. From there it turned into a spy thriller where I was the villain and I was planning to fake my own death and come back to steal the secrets out of a wall safe, but the owners of the safe were on to me and had had a new, state of the art safe with triple-coded tumblers installed and I screamed in agony like a bad guy getting bungled up by the Mystery Machine Gang. It was quite overdramatic and filmed like an episode of Fantasy Island. In short, I think I need some fresh veggies and an exorcist.
