In lehmans terms the definition of compromise is giving something up. I understand how relationships are failing one after one after one. Society is so self centered and so focused upon themselves there not compromising with their spouse. To give something up is far worse then Losing a relationship. You need to respect your spouse. Give up cheating, drinking, your spending habit, or your sour attitude. And remember you might give up something but you gain as well. Communication, compromise, and trust should be your base. You should trust your spouse after all there supposed to be your best friend. And your not best friends with a friend you cant trust.
