In lieu of the recent anti-CrossFit attacks within social media, I want to take a moment to explain some facts. For those of you who know me, Im the owner of Supero CrossFit currently majoring in Kinesiology with a concentration in fitness and human performance in which I also plan on attending graduate school (exercise physiology). This isnt to boost my ego, Im simply stating the fact that Im educated within my field of study and work. If you would look further into my credentials go to superocrossfit. Ok, so heres some facts. 1. If you dont do CrossFit or have never done CrossFit come try out Supero CrossFit! Im offering you personally 7 free sessions. If youre not convinced its a better program than anything youve experienced or if the level of instruction is inferior to that of your current (GLOBO GYM). Then its not your fit, plain and simple. 2. If youre uneducated, dont post articles of Facebook of biased views. Personally me and my members dont care about your opinion. Plus youre personally attacking businesses within our community. You dont see me posting negatively about the local doughnut shop lol. 3. (Fact) I seek insight from professionals, professors,strength and conditioning coaches weekly for guidance within our training methodology at Supero. They love what we do for people here! 4. Theres a difference between a Globo Gym who wants to maximize profit, and offer (YOU) the client an inferior program for a increase in revenue, vs. A true CrossFit box with higher prices who has educated and experienced personnel as coaches who know anatomy/physiology and dont water down the program. 5. At Supero CrossFit and many other boxes, we have multiple medical personnel that are our members, including (physical therapist) who love the program. Wouldnt you think they know a thing or two about the body? 6. Its functional! 7. If you want concrete scientific studies on CrossFit, Ill be more than happy to email them to you, but until you have facts your opinion is invalid. 8. CrossFit is designed for (GPP) general physical preparedness we build generalist here across multiple fitness modalities. If youre seeking (SPP) ex. Olympic weightlifting go see Gayle hatch or Matt Bruce . 9. Most people that had a bad experience generalize all CrossFits together. Every box is different 10. If you ever want to have a constructive argument over fitness call me @ 985-634-1257 or you can actually try it out! 7 free sessions, maybe actually experiencing CrossFit and the community would change your mindset instead of just posting negative articles/videos, be positive! 10.
