In life, absolutes are rare. Be it Politics, religion, and yes, FITNESS, if you are talking to someone who professes to have THE answer, or insists their way is THE way, you can rest assured you are talking to someone who is close minded and myopic in their thinking. As we age, I think most reasonable people would agree that the one thing we DO know, is that we actually know very little. But, if you take your experiences, combined with those of others you know, combined with fact based research, you can usually come up with some pretty good stuff. Even then, things change and if you are looking to be better, and GROW, you will likely change to. My way is not THE way, but the tool box I own is a living one. I discard those tools that just dont work well (dont provide results, cause too many injuries, etc.) when I discover them and always look for new ones...better ones (again, BETTER being subjective but taking into account the elements above) in order to facilitate truth growth...NOT a stubborn, static, myopic MY WAY IS RIGHT attitude. Those that KNOW me know I always invite discussion and if I DO or DO NOT do something, my reasoning will always include information...not posturing. (sorry, it was a verbose channelling of DEEP THOUGHTS, by Jack Handy...)
