In life we are born alone and we die alone -the battle is ours alone -no one can share it for they have their own battle. Even in the midst of our own mighty army we stand alone protected not- for they are protecting themselves. We can reach out and call -come here and join for we are on the same side but there is only one side -your own. When facing the inevitable dont wait for rescue it will not come but surrender to your own fate. And as the last call will usually be mother she will not be there -till afterwards. G Let me not pray to be sheltered from dangers but to be fearless in facing them. Let me not beg for the stilling of my pain but for the heart to conquer it. Let me not look for allies in lifes battlefield but to my own strength. Let me not crave in anxious fear to be saved but hope for the patience to win my freedom.
