In light of OFarrell government deciding to put over 400 people living in the Rocks out of their homes and transfer them somewhere else the below might have an added reason. One bloke has lived there for over 60 years but now he has to move. And who knows where they will be moved to. I undersand that they will only get the two choices that are normally given to housing NSW tenants before they lose their right to choose. Housing NSW is one of the most frustrating departments to deal with that I have ever come into contact with. Their staff do nothing - due mainly to unworkable regulations and a lack of any real empathy for their clients, along with having very little real ability to actually work. They are mainly a collection of non-working deadbeats.
