In light of having awakened this morning to the news of another beheading, with the knowledge of the starvation, war, genocide and abuse in the world; harmed in my heart and reeling with the question of what do I do?, how do I contribute to effective, consistent change? - I guess part of the answer, at least, is the understanding that Im fully present in the magical, mystery of the here and now and called to claim my stake of peace, loving kindness and compassion - the knowledge that were all here (whether fully engaged or not) together and that the glory, the divine gladness, the sacred intentionality of the world - especially as revealed in nature and our participation in and with the natural - makes us, just as we are, important to the collective - in change and evolution of our higher selves.
