In light of recent events, it is hard for me not to hate football because I cant help but see it as a legitimate foe, competing and often winning the affection of Gods people. Pastors I plead with you. When you say I am going to do my best to get you out of here in time for the game, are you not giving your consent to this thing competing for their affection? Are you not saying, I am going to do all I can to see to it that the preaching of Gods word does not interfere with something that you desire more.?
