In light of the Firebird having been burned ahead of schedule, we should all come together as a community and still have the festival (IMHO). Im sure we can still get a good bon fire going if everyone brings wood with them. Its not the same as the bird, I agree, but it would be a good way to show that we can rise from the ashes and still come together and have a good event as a community. And, when the culprit(s) are found, they should be sentenced to community service for their arson and vandalism. And by community service, I mean that they should have to build NEXT YEARS Phoenix ALL BY THEMSELVES. It might take them a whole year, but Id volunteer to oversee it for more than one weekend...
