In light of the protest popping up about the shooting of the young Mother in DC, I think I have a solution. Since almost every Police involved shooting is now blamed on the Officer(s), I propose we disarm our Police forces. Only those ranked Sergeant and above would be armed. This would mean all other Police Officers would have to call for a supervisor to respond, assess the situation and then call a Lieutenant to clear it with the Captain before shooting. This is similar to the way the war in Vietnam was conducted, and we all know it was a ringing success. An unfortunate side effect of my plan would be additional innocent lives lost and quite a few Police Officers would most likely be sacrificed as well, but the shooting will be squeaky clean. If we go this route, I hope somebody lets me know how it works out...I will be living in a safer place, a place far away from here....
